The first day: Introduction of the class!
In order to present you the first day of the class we thought: Why don't we create a POWTOON, one useful tool for creating animated videos? And as it is very attractive and it allows you to present the things more visually, we said:
-Okay, we will make a video showing the things that we have done during the subject, all of them explained by the teacher.
So, while watching the video you have to imagine that all the words that appear during the video such as "You are going to..." or "Thanks to this task..." were said in the first class of the subject by our teacher Melinda.
Will you be able to imagine it? Let's see if you can!
But after receiving all that information about the subject and all the assignments that we will do, What were our first impressions?
With the aim of showing to you our feelings after the first session of the subject, we have recorded individual audios thanks to the use of VOCAROO, one recording service that allows you to record your own voice.

All our first impressions could be summarised with these words or sentences:
NERVES, STRESS, TECHNOPHOBES, OVERWHELMED, NEW CLASS, DIFFERENT SCHEDULE, CHAOS, LACK OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE MENTION, CLASSES IN ENGLISH, TEPBLL MEANING, CONFUSION, FEAR...
But that session was not only dedicated to explain the main goals and tasks of the subject. We had to record an introductory video for the students from Illinois, our future virtual partners.
Recording that video in the UAB campus was a good experience to get to know each other, since we came from different classes, and to relax a bit after receiving all that amount of information.
